We're looking for
DevOps Engineer (m/f/x)
Location: Wien
Working hours: Full-time
As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, we work together with our more than 700 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade.
As part of a new, motivated team, you will secure the operation of our services based on SRE principles. With a broad knowledge of IT, you will act as an interface between infrastructure and development. Together with our development and platform teams, you will improve the operational aspects of our software architectures. By establishing quality gates and automating manual processes, you will increase the reliability of our services.
What you will work on
- Development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for the future of e-commerce
- Solving extensive DevOps tasks in a motivated developer team
- Introduction and further development of modern SRE practices
- Building the future cloud infrastructure for applications
- Optional: On-call services (PagerDuty) within your team
What we are looking for
- Professional experience as a DevOps engineer
- Knowledge of the cloud environment (preferably GCP) is an advantage
- Knowhow in the field of logging & monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK Stack)
- Expertise in container virtualization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in Infrastructure As Code (Terraform)
- Experience in pipeline configuration (GitLab)
- Experience with Java Spring and database management (Postgres) is an advantage
- Very good comprehension as well as communication and team player skills
- Self-responsibility, organizational and coordination strength
