Your Opportunity
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (f/m/d).
You will be part of our team that is developing our state-of-the-art BPM SaaS product.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and manage the deployment and the operations of our SaaS product.
- Build and maintain GitOps workflows for streamlined deployment and infrastructure-as-code processes
- Operate observability tools like Prometheus for monitoring and alerting
- Manage and support data infrastructure, including OpenSearch, Kafka, and MongoDB, ensuring high availability and scalability
- Collaborate with development teams and external partners
- Take full ownership of system reliability, security, and deployment processes
- Work and learn within an agile team setting.
Your Background
- Profound completed education in the field of IT/software development or similar
- Minimum experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field with a focus on Kubernetes and Helm: 3 years.
- Hands-on experience managing distributed systems like OpenSearch, Kafka, and MongoDB in production environments
- Strong expertise in GitOps and Infrastructure as Code practices and tools
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, particularly Prometheus
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like GitLab
- Familiarity with software development practices and version control systems like Git
- Experience with on-call rotations, including troubleshooting and resolving critical issues under pressure, and readiness to participate in on-call support as needed
- High level of independence and good self-organization.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication skills in English, and optionally German
