For our client, Siemens AG Austria, we are looking for an Application Manager (f/m/d) effective immediately, based in 1210 Vienna, Austria! As a member of our Application Management Team, you will be responsible for managing and developing over 10 business-critical applications used across 17 countries within Siemens Austria. In addition to supporting ongoing demand processes, you will drive the journey of cloudification and modernization of our entire application portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow and make a meaningful impact in the dynamic landscape of IT, fostering innovation and collaboration across teams.
Your Tasks
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned applications, ensuring availability and performance.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities while managing documentation and knowledge base.
- Evaluate the impact of changes and upgrades to the infrastructure and handle related adaptations.
- Support regulatory and compliance-related topics, including keeping the Protection Concept up to date and implementing CyberSec requirements.
- Act as the point of contact for external auditing.
- Monitor application performance and availability, implement and maintain SLAs, and manage incident and problem resolution.
- Act as the point of contact between business units and IT, manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, communicate system changes and updates to end-users, and facilitate training and support.
Your Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science, with 3+ years of experience in application management or similar.
- Knowledge of service management principles, knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, Project Management methodologies, and IT is advantageous.
- Understanding of escalation procedures, incident management, service delivery, and agile principles.
- Proficiency in cloud-based technologies and experience with .Net C#, .NET VB, MS-SQL, JavaScript, Angular, GO (Lang), Internet Information Server (MS IIS), and Windows operating systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in German as well as English.
Your Perspective
Depending on specific qualifications and professional experience, a gross monthly salary (Full-time Basis) of at least 3.811,93 EUR is expected. The final salary agreement will be reached in a personal interview.
