Aufgabengebiet

• Lead the design and architecture of software and systems throughout the project lifecycle for safety-critical railway systems.
• Serve as a technical expert, crafting system architectures that align with customer needs.
• Develop solution architectures by balancing stakeholder expectations, technical and technological options, and considerations of cost, risk, and schedule, in collaboration with project management.
• Ensure compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements (safety, reliability, security, etc.).
• Collaborate within an international, agile team and coordinate with other business line units.

Anforderungsprofil

• Technical education (FH, University) in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 yearsof relevant experience in full lifecycle software development and system architecture.
• Experience in safety-critical industrial contexts,particularly in transportation.
• Experience in a Linux working enviroment
• Experience with Container technologies
• Proficiency in distributed systems,real-time systems, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Familiarity with private/public cloud environments (OpenStack)and container technologies.
• Certifications in software/system architectureare an advantage.
• Experience working in aninternational context (multi-unit/multi-site) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.
• Innovative, adaptable, and customer-focused team player.
• Fluency in Germanand English is essential.

• A starting salary of EUR73,000 gross per annum, with actual compensation based on experience and qualifications.
