Business Analyst for Business Event Tracking (all humans)

Our team has developed a data pipeline tailored for business event tracking, empowering Erste to conduct detailed customer journey analyses across various channels. We have been selected as the prospective platform for the entire Erste Group, aiming to seamlessly integrate business event tracking capabilities across all operational regions.
We are looking for a highly skilled business analyst to spearhead the expansion of our data pipeline to Erste Group's international markets. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in deploying the pipeline in diverse countries while offering continuous support to the Austrian business unit, a current key user of the pipeline solution.
What to do:
- Proactively approach the business to implement business event tracking in different source systems
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for developers
- Provide the business with an IT infrastructure that allows them to track customer behavior across different channels
- Support the business to identify trends and patterns in data, and use insights to inform strategic business decisions
- Use reporting tools such as Knime, PowerBI and Databricks to create visualizations and insights from data
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis trends and tools, and continuously improve skillset
- Understand bank products and identify opportunities for improvement
- Use KNIME, SQL, PowerBI, MongoDB, Oracle, and process mining tools to support data analysis and reporting
You check these boxes:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics)
- 3+ years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies such as SQL and Python
- Experience using Agile project management tools, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence, to efficiently manage workloads and track progress.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and across different departments

- A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 53.802,-- gross per year.
