Head of Embedded Software Development (f/m/d)

The newly emerging Center of Excellence "Embedded Software Engineering" will drive the common development of embedded software across all product lines to the next level. Reporting to the Head of Global Engineering, we're looking for a Head of Embedded Software Development (f/m/d) in Köstendorf who will manage the common embedded software portfolio together with a team of experts. Your responsibilities

• Active participation in the development of the new Center of Excellence "Embedded Software Development" and subsequent disciplinary and functional lead of the team
• Cross-functional collaboration with the software development teams of the product lines
• Responsibility for the common embedded software portfolio incl. lifecycle management as well as the associated budget
• Definition of the embedded software development environment (e.g. tool chain)
• Management of the partner portfolio (e. g. selections and qualification)

Your qualifications

• Completed university studies in (software-) engineering or a comparative qualification
• Several years of experience in lateral leadership in the environment of embedded software development
• Comprehensive understanding of development methods (Stage Gate, V-Model, Agile) are adventageous
• Strong skills in communication, conflict management and moderation as well as a sense for cooperative working
• Fluency in business English, German skills are an advantage

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 65.432,36 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
