Data protection is and will continue to be a major topic, especially for Erste serving a large number of clients.The AT Data Privacy & Security Management team enables the bank to fulfill her tasks by controlling ownership, oversight of design and monitoring of the processing activities and controls, providing general conditions and processes.
Your Tasks
- Give data privacy & security a voice in projects and enable to strengthen the stake in run the bank activities
- Be the one to identify privacy relevant risks from different sources and show ways to mitigate them (execution of privacy compliance)
- Support the accountable mangers regarding Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA, TIA, LIA,... ) and operational fulfilment of GDPR requirements
- Consult responsible stakeholders on the design for concepts in new technologies (e.g. anonymization, cloud, blockchain, AI or machine learning and other upcoming buzzwords) regarding privacy by design and compliant ways of implementation
- Enhance and develop internal tools for efficient and integrated privacy management
- Investigate, document and analyse data breaches, to reduce possible risks in future
- Develop and learn from the great variety of security and privacy experts in the environment to grow into a leading expert
Your Background
- Eager to be part of a team which acts as an interface and enabler to fulfill privacy requirements
- Process-oriented thinking with the aim of building sustainable solutions
- Educational background: legal education with a focus on GDPR with an interest in technical solutions and implementation methods OR Information Security, IT related education (e.g. computer science, communication engineering) with a focus and interest on privacy
- Practical experience in the field of privacy or information security
- Know-how and interest in current legislation as well as security standards & best practices
- Security and privacy certifications are of advantage
- Empathetic by soul with versatile communication skills throughout different stakeholder groups ranging from technical solution managers to bank business owners to topic experts in cyber security and privacy and legislation
- Proactive and willing to learn & develop within an experienced team
- Good communication skills in German and English

- The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 48.323,00 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
