Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles.
The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.
Your core responsibilities are:
- Manage a team of software development engineers in automotive environment under consideration of industry relevant processes and standards (e.g. A-SPICE, IATF 16949, ISO 26262, etc.)
- Drive the strategic direction of our products & services considering emerging and legacy technologies
- Active engagement in negotiation of project scope and timing (FIP) during acquisition phase
- Ensure innovation in SW development process striving for efficiency (process, methods, tools, certifications)
- Ensure innovation in SW functionality to increase battery safety, performance and life
Develop and align optimized SW qualification methods and processes with Verification/Validation team
What you need is:
- Completed technical education
- Experience of leading a more than 30 head count team of SW development engineers
- Experience in SW project management in automotive environment
- Knowledge about automotive software development environment / tools
- Leading by example, integrity, transparency & accountability
- Innovation and cost-driven mindset
- Seeing the future with strategic thinking
- Very good English and German language skills
Our offer for you:
With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (All-in) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 98.000.--
We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
