We're looking for a Lead System Engineer to join our international team in Vienna and take on exciting challenges in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) domains. Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze requirements, developing specifications and system processes for ETC and telematics solutions.
- Design and present innovative, end-to-end ITS solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Lead technical project management activities during bid and implementation phases, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Optimize and streamline customer ETC/ITS business processes and system architectures.
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and successful implementations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, infrastructure, operations, and project management to achieve project goals.
Your Profile:
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in system engineering.
- Education: A degree in engineering, software architecture, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, telematics, or a related discipline.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
- A passion for solving complex technical problems with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
- Exceptional collaboration skills across distributed teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to dynamic project environments.
- Mindset: Enthusiasm for driving innovation and delivering high-quality results in the ITS industry.
