We are looking for a System Architect with focus on SAP solutions in our Business Application department. As a System Architect you contribute on solution designs, transform it into our system landscape and transition it into operations. You will design, plan and oversee the implementation and maintenance of SAP systems within our organization. You collaborate with solution architects, project manager as well as with internal and external consultants to find the best setup within our system landscape.
The SAP System Architect is a strategic and technical leader who ensures that the SAP landscape effectively supports our business applications by designing robust systems, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and fostering innovation.

SYSTEM DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE
As a System Architect at Red Bull, you will design state-of-the-art and secure SAP system landscapes utilizing both on-premises and cloud technologies. You support the project manager within the IT organization, as well as with vendors, to implement a new solution within our system landscape.
INHOUSE CONSULTING
In this role, you will provide in-house consulting for technical questions and requirements related to our SAP system landscape. You will also support and lead problem analysis (e.g., root cause analysis) in collaboration with our various partners, with a strong emphasis on sustainable resolutions.
ARCHITECTURE MANAGEMENT
You will be responsible for managing and contributing to our architecture documentation as well as building and promoting reusable reference architectures and guidelines. You will also contribute to IT-wide cross-functional initiatives in close coordination and collaboration with solution and infrastructure architects to maximize the potential of the given organizational setup.
SECURITY
You will always ensure the security of our SAP system landscape by implementing relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. In addition, you will work closely with our application security team to maximize the effectiveness of our organizational structure.
Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
That matter most for this role:
- University education and degree in computer science or a related field of study
- Several years of professional experience in an architecture role or Senior Expert in System Management, Engineering or similar
- Experience in IT project management and working with external consultants and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively
- Experience in designing and building SAP systems landscapes in an on premise, cloud and hybrid setup
- Experience in SAP technologies
- Good communication skills in both German and English
- Strong leadership and communication skills as well as technical and entrepreneurial understanding of business processes
- Travel: 0-10 %

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
