Responsibilities

As an HRIS specialist you are the bridge between the HR Systems and the local HR teams. In this role you are the go-to-person for Valneva HR tech systems and will be responsible for initiating system upgrades in collaboration with other HR colleagues to improve the People Experience within the whole company. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting and behaving as a driver for digitalization and collaborate with IT and software vendors to implement system upgrades, configurations and potentially switch to more fitting HR solutions
  • Collaborate with local HR-teams in Europe and North America in their day-to-day requests regarding e.g. user access permissions, security settings, and taking away any disturbances
  • Updating all Valneva HR systems for e.g. Recruitment, HR Core, Performance Management, and other HR related topics
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HRIS-related inquiries and escalations
  • Developing and maintaining documentation, user guides, and training materials to support HRIS usage across the organization
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with policies and regulations
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to streamline processes and workflows through automation and system optimization

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within HR and HR Information Systems
  • At least a Bachelor degree in HR-Management or other equivalent (HR-Consulting, IT, etc.)
  • High self-organizing abilities, quick grasp of understanding combined with business orientated behavior
  • Knowledge in MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot, Tables, VLOOKUP, ...)
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environment
  • High self-organizing abilities, quick grasp of understanding combined with business orientated behavior
  • Very good proficiency in English and preferably German
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is EUR 55.000,- gross per year based on full-time employment. However, our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
