Ribbon Bio is an emerging leader in synthetic biology, developing innovative and performant methods to generate long, complex DNA molecules that have application in understanding and treating disease. Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, Ribbon specializes in error-proof, cost-effective DNA synthesis up to 20kb in length, enabling a new generation of biopharmaceutical processes and synthetic biology products.
We are currently looking for a skilled ERP Specialist (m/f/d) to join our passionate team.
ERP Specialist (m/f/d)
What we will trust you with:
- Implement, configure, and maintain the ERP system to support business processes.
- Ensure system security and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. R&D, production, sales and finance) to understand workflows and identify opportunities to optimise processes using ERP tools.
- Collaboration with the software development team to develop company-specific solutions.
- Oversee the integration of the ERP system with other software applications such as LIMS, CRM etc.
- Conduct key user training, create documentation and process support requests.
- Coordinate with vendors for system updates and customization.
- Ensure ERP system compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
What helps you thrive in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Several years of experience in ERP system implementation and administration, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
- Knowledge of business processes in the areas of project management, production, supply chain, basic financial accounting etc.
- Knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript).
- Strong process thinking and high analytical skills.
- Project management knowledge and experience is an advantage.
- High quality awareness, high ability to learn and work in a team as well as a sense of responsibility for the team, and project.
- Fluency in English; German would be considered a plus.

Salary
The salary depends on your qualifications and experience and is between 50,250 EUR und 58,600 EUR gross per year (on a 40-hour basis).
Job type: Full time (40 h per week).
Location: Vienna.
