As the world's first ISO certified company in the field of microbiome analysis, we are developing breakthrough analysis tests which are used by doctors, patients, hospitals, end-customers, and white-label partners. Backend Developer (m/f/d) Health
Permanent position, 38,5h | Vienna/Remote
What You'll Be Doing
- Take part in the full development lifecycle -- from planning and design to implementation, testing, and documentation of new features.
- Collaborate on designing and evolving our data structures and system architecture.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development practices and workflows.
- Investigate and resolve issues through root-cause analysis as part of our second-level support team.
Your profile
- You're passionate about building high-quality software and solving complex problems.
- You have 2+ years of hands-on experience developing backend applications and APIs with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, cloud services, containerization, and microservice architectures.
A strong team player with genuine interest in medical and healthcare innovation.
Bonus Points for
- Experience building applications with NestJS.
- Knowledge of frontend development with ReactJS / Next.js.

Salary
The minimum salary is 3,300 EUR gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis). The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
