This role will connect big-pharma & biotech and datavisyn's product development teams, ensuring alignment between market needs and our advanced data visualization solutions. Business Development and Marketing Specialist

Full-time/Part-time (30h+) | Experienced

Your FUTURE WORKPLACE

• You will be part of an agile and high-performing team, driving strategic initiatives and hands-on growth efforts.
• You will gain a deep understanding of customer needs, and market demands to tailor marketing and business development initiatives.
• You will gather and analyze customer feedback systematically, using these insights together with the product development team to refine our go-to-market strategy.
• You work in a new office building in Linz, Austria.

Your SKILLS

• Formal Education and Experience: Degree and/or professional experience in marketing and/or business development. Familiarity with the biotech, life science, or pharma industry is a plus.
• Strong ability to develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
• Experience in content marketing, digital campaigns, event marketing, and community engagement.
• Proven track record of scaling a software product business, including market positioning, go-to-market strategies, and demand generation - ideally, in a B2B software, SaaS, or technology-driven environment.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills, capable of translating technical topics into compelling messages for diverse audiences.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Adaptability and Eagerness to Learn: Openness to acquiring new skills and familiarising with innovative tools to drive growth
• Proactive and hands-on approachability to take initiative, solve problems, and drive projects forward independently.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English; German proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.

The salary is 50,000 EUR gross per year (on a 38.5-hour basis).
